An observer for the Newton's cradle:: a nonlinear mechanism unobservable in absence of impacts

摘要
We consider a simplified Newton's cradle. An observer is proposed that asymptotically estimates all the non-measurable state variables, in presence of a infinite sequence of non-smooth impacts.
