Protonation of bridged acetate anion in the {(H2O)Zn(μ,η2-OOCMe)[η5-C5H4(COO)]Mn(CO)3} n-3,5-dimethylpyrazole polymer yields binuclear pyrazolate-bridged complex

摘要
The reaction between aqueous zinc acetate and two moles of cymantrene carboxylic acid under mild conditions is found to give rise to {(H2O)Zn(mu,eta(2)-OOCMe)[eta(5)-C5H4(COO)]Mn(CO)(3) polymer, whose reaction with 3,5-dimethylpyrazole yields binuclear pyrazolate-bridged complex Zn-2(mu-dmpz)(2)(Hdmpz)(2)[eta(5)-C5H4(COO)]Mn(CO)(3)](2). The structure of the resulting complexes was identified by X-ray diffraction.
