摘要
As Taiwan continues to promote "National Digital Learning Technology Plan", digital learning has become the popularly studied topic. Digital learning not only complements with traditional learning, in long-term, it can also replace the traditional learning method. However, the existing learning apparatus is by large of personal computers and is likely to result in interruption of the learning process once the learners relocate. This study develops a LMS with computers and wireless equipment into two primary learning themes, "online learning" and "mobile learning". High portability PDA is included as a complementary mobile learning apparatus. This study uses Dreamweaver MX and ASP to incorporate with SQL database to establish an online learning management system platform, and develops PDA mobile learning management system with eVB, Flash MX and ActiveServerPage 3.0 Javascript.[5][7-8] The system functions include: (1) online course; (2) e-book; (3) online test; (4) learning history; (5) PDA learning and more. Based on actual use, the users found the system useful in the following ways: (1) reviewing the self-learning efficiency through learning history; (2) selecting courses freely according to the needs; (3) continuous learning through mobile learning. To instructors, benefits are as follows: (1) simplifying instruction preparation process and eliminating the resistances; (2) computerizing the instructional content for knowledge accumulation; (3) providing assistances to learners and realizing the teaching effects. Since this system allows learners to learn at anytime and anywhere, learners are able to extend from E-Learning to M-Learning.
