摘要：
The article presents research results on using a statistically-based approach to extracting single word and multi-word terms. It uses both collocation search and parallel bilingual concordance search as a technique for the extraction and statistical similarity as general approach. The comparison of search results from two electronic text corpora - Slovak National Corpus and Bulgarian-Slovak / Slovak-Bulgarian EUROPARL 7 Corpus are presented and analysed with respect to generated multi-word expressions - terms and typical collocations. The conclusion outlines the multilingual scope of the approach.
