摘要：

A literature review of new technologies based on surveying the metal bath with inert gases is presented. It is shown that scavenging the metal bath with inert gases during the LD process yields the following advantages: an increase in the metal yield, a decrease in spattering from the converter, improvement of the slag formation conditions and low carbon contents in steel in the final stage of the process.
