摘要
An enzymatic method for assaying methylmalonyl-CoA mutase was devised. The method employs a succinyl-CoA transferase and beta-hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase-coupled reaction to make the formation of NAD+ stoichiometric with the amount of the succinyl-CoA formed by the mutase. This method is one of the most convenient and useful assays for the activity of methylmalonyl-CoA mutase in biological samples.
