Graphene /ZnO Nanocomposite for Voltammetric Sensing of Vitamin B-6 using Modified Glassy Carbon Electrode

摘要
A convenient, low cost, and sensitive electrochemical method, based on a glassy carbon electrode modified with graphene/ZnO nanocomposite is described for determination of vitamin B-6. The modified electrode exhibited good electrochemical properties toward the oxidation of vitamin B-6. The diffusion coefficient (D=1.89x10(-5) cm(2) s(-1)), and the kinetic parameter such as the electron transfer coefficient, (alpha=0.53) of vitamin B-6 oxidation at the surface of modified electrode was determined using electrochemical approaches. The anodic peak currents of vitamin B-6 were found to be linear in the concentration range of 1.0-16000.0 mu M with the detection limit of 7.2x10(-7) M.
