摘要
Electrical conduction measurements have been made in thin films of naturally occuring muscovite mica. The measurements were made at high electric fields and in the temperature range of 70K to 500K. Various conduction mechanisms to explain the data were considered and data was found to fit the Schottky emission and the ionic conduction equations. The activation energy-phi in mica was calculated as 0.75eV in the high temperature region.
