摘要
Product distribution in the conversion of methanol to aromatics on H-ZSM-5 was investigated in a pulse microreactor. The effects of pulse number, pulse size, catalyst weight, carrier gas flow rate, reaction temperature and poisoning of strong acid sites with pyridine, on the formation of aromatics and their relative distribution were studied. Aromatization occurs on the strong acid sites and the distribution of aromatics is controlled mostly by the secondary reactions (viz. isomerization and dealkylation) after their formation in the alcohol conversion process.
