An analysis of the effectiveness of China's environmental financial policy

Influencing the allocation of resources of financial market by financial policies is an important means of macroeconomic control of the government. This paper examines a series of environmental financial policies enacted recent years by mainland government, including green credit and insurance. Then, it gives an analysis to the positive role the policies play from incentive and restraint perspective and the limitation factors during the implementation of the policies. And then it figures out policy proposals from three aspects: to formulate a systematic policy, to strengthen policy implementation, and to perfect the supporting and coordination.
