摘要
The authors describe a simple green method for the preparation of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) using the aqueous root extract of Scutellaria baicalensis. The synthesized ZnONPs were characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy, FTIR, TEM, SEM and EDX. They were spherical in shape and with sizes ranging from 33.14-99.03 nm. The ZnONPs produced exhibited significant free radical scavenging effects. An in-vitro study showed a dose-dependent cytotoxic effect on HeLa cells. (C) 2019 Published by Elsevier B.V.
