Three-component cross-coupling, reactions among 3-iodopyridynes, terminal alkynes and ArSK took place in the presence of Pt-catalyst to give pyridine derivatives with conjugated vinyl groups in moderate yields. (C) 2004 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
