摘要
The West-Tower in Zhujiang New Town of Guangzhou covers an area of 451,926 square meters. The main turret has about 103 stories and 432 meters high, it will become the highest building and a new landmark building in Guangzhou upon to now. Guangzhou West-Tower is also one of the highest constructing complicated structures in China. Considered the complexity of this structure, to secure the safety of the construction stage, the structure was monitored during construction stage by Guangdong provincial academy of building research. This paper presents part results of the construction phase monitoring of Guangzhou West-Tower. Combined with the National Key Technology R&D Program in the 11th Five year Plan of China, the finite element model of the supporting system of tower crane is established to calculate the stress and deformation of bars under the conditions of four different loading states, which are compared with the on-site collected data to ensure that the main structure carried out safely and smoothly.
