A study on the autohydrolysis of rutin to quercetin from Sophora japonica blossoms

摘要
Optimum parameters of the autohydrolysis of rutin to quercetin from Sophora japonica blossoms have been established. The process has been carried out as an 8-hour maceration at pH 4.5 and 60 degrees C. The obtained quercetin content, determined by HPLC is 4.4-fold greater compared to the control sample.
