摘要：

The four-component condensation of benzil, aromatic aldehyde, primary amine, and ammonium acetate catalyzed by TFA in ionic liquid [Bpy]BF4 at 80 degrees C provided 1,2,4,5-tetrasubstituted imidazoles in moderate to high yields.
