摘要：

Through studying two cases of e-government maintenance outsourcing, this paper analyses the background, motivation, vendor selection, and management mechanism of e-government maintenance outsourcing. We find that the e-government maintenance outsourcing market in China is in the infant period now, and there are many problems. These problems include customers' lack of maintenance outsourcing management experience, immaturity of outsourcing service market, small outsourcing vendors scale, low service quality, and short duration of outsourcing contracts, etc.
