摘要
In general terms, any production system to ensure its operation needs to get since outside a range of inputs and materials from which they made the transformation processes. From this, in Pap power SAS supplying or procurement as logistic function focuses its main objective to plan and provide the material required to develop products to focus on cost reduction and customer satisfaction. Among its main activities are: 1. The calculation of needs, where logistics planning is involve for the determination of material amounts required for a given time. 2. The purchase or acquisition of materials function that has as main objectives: To maintain continuity of supply, pay fair prices, prevent damage, waste and duplication, seek sources of supply, alternatives, and identifying new products and materials. 3. Obtaining, aimed at contributing to the continuity of activities, avoiding delays and making the respective quality checks. 4. Storage, with specific objectives such as control of the accuracy of their stocks, conservation of materials; and timely replenishment. 5. Office or distribution function to ensure that customer requirements are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner. 6. Stocks control, where it must keep in mind the exact quantities to supply to meet the requirements of material without exceeding the storage capacity [9]. In order to comply with these activities is necessary to design management strategies and control for each, thereby taking Pap Power SAS a policy of purchasing, warehousing, inventory and plans to help to determinate the quantities of material to apply to according to the needs and requirements of the company bearing in mind the key success factor of an adequate supply, costs reduction.
