Synthesis of neutral tri- and tetranuclear organometallic clusters of group VIII transition metals

摘要：
A number of earlier unknown tri- and tetranuclear organometallic clusters of group VIII transition metals was synthesized by the addition of coordinatively unsaturated species to a single metal-metal bond. A number of novel heteronuclear clusters, CpCp2'RhM2(mu-Co)(3)(mu(3)-CO), (Cp' = Cp, Cp*; M-2 = Ru-2, Fe-2, RuFe); Cp2Cp*Rh2M2(mu(3)-CO)(3) (M = Ru, Fe); Cp3Cp*Rh3M(mu(3)-CO)(2)(mu(3)-rl) (M = Ru, Fe); Cp2Cp*2Rh2Co2(mu(3)-CO)(2), etc., was obtained.
