摘要
Nowadays the main thermoluminescence dosimetry systems for measurements of individual and environmental doses are based on thermoluminescent (TLD) detectors. In 2005 at the IFJ PAN a new system of 2-D measurements with specially prepared planar thermoluminescent dosemeter was built. The system contains TL detector (special developed planar TL foil with different size or normal pellets - 0.9 thickness and 2.4 diameter) and a special TL reader where CCD camera is measuring TL signal. The result from that system is 2-D image of TL lighting. The new system has found a few practical applications. Historically first use of TL foils was for measurements of dose distribution around anode like X-ray tube. Next use was for check in doses using radiotherapy procedures and finally to distinguish between static and dynamic exposure in individual dosimetry. During last two years TL foils were tested in interventional radiology procedures. In this work the results of different studies on the two-dimensional technique, both using TL pellets (to distinguish static or dynamic exposure) as well as the TL planar foils will be presented.
