摘要
This paper describes and applies computational models, the usage of which can decide about the transmission System lines operation. Overhead lines thermal models include the thermal power balance and work with the conductor current and temperature in a steady, unsteady and transient state. In the cooperation with the steady state calculation, in the example of a system, extraordinary states calculations are performed and results are concluded with respect to standard requirements how to solve these states.
