摘要
The electro-oxidation of indole, C8NH7, in LiClO4-acetonitrile solution, leads to the formation of an electroactive polymer. This compound, in the doped state, was characterized by PEELS, XPS and FTIR spectroscopies. The sites of polymerization do not involve the benzene ring, but are rather on the 1 and 3 positions of the pyrrole ring. The most probable structure of ClO4--doped polyindole is a regular alternance of 1,1-3,3 couplings.
