The B1/2->X1/2 and C(2)1/2->A(2)1/2 transitions of ArKr+ produced from argon afterglow reactions of Kr

摘要
Two new visible emission systems of the ArKr+ heterodimer ion were observed in the 660-710 and 930-990 nm regions by the addition of Kr into an Ar afterglow. The former band was ascribed to the B 1/2 --> X 1/2 transition from the nu' = 0 and 1 levels, while the latter band was assigned to the C-2 1/2 --> A(2) 1/2 transition from the nu' similar or equal to 0-2 levels. The nu(0) value of the B 1/2 --> X 1/2 transition and the nu(c) value of the C-2 1/2 --> A(2) 1/2 transition were estimated to be 18103.4 +/- 2.3 and 10623.4 +/- 1.6 cm(-1), respectively. The Delta G(1/2) and D-0 values of the B 1/2 state and the omega(e), omega(e) x(e) and D-0 values of the A(2) 1/2 state were determined to be 44.7 +/- 0.7, 645, 93.7 +/- 1.2, 2.44 +/- 0.17 and 1093 cm(-1), respectively, on the basis of a vibrational analysis.
