摘要
A double membrane air-supported structure consists of membranes, cables and few steel parts. This allows the construction of a lightweight, longer span structure compared with the steel structural system. The double membrane air-supported structure has not previously been used in a permanent structure. A 1/10 scale model was built and tested to validate the design. The soundness of the design was then verified by a survey at the construction site. This paper describes the design method, test results, construction site survey result, and construction method.
