Between words and terms in the Tourism National Plan 2018-2022

The objective of this work is to observe if the most representative words of the Tourism National Plan 2018-2022 are specific from this area or if they are from the general language. For that, we used the methodology of the Corpus Linguistic, with the support of the WordSmith Tools 7.0 program for the selection of the lexical items, which were selected by their frequency of use and keyness. In order to lead the analyzes, we used the Novo Dicionario Aurelio da Lingua Portuguesa (FERREIRA, 2010), besides the Termos Tecnicos do Meio Turistico Dictionary, by Falcao (2016). The work is based on the Communicative Theory of Terminology, especially in Cabre (2005) and on the notions of Terminologization and Vocabularization, such as proposed by Barbosa (2007; 1998).
