摘要
Innovation Ecosystems are spaces that add infrastructure and institutional and cultural arrangements, which attract entrepreneurs and financial resources, constitute places that enhance the development of the knowledge society, and include, among others: science and technology park; smart city; district or innovation area; technological pole; and innovation center. Thus, this article aimed to update and situate the concept of Innovation Ecosystems from its main constitutive elements, through a Systematic Review of the Literature of the last 5 years. A total of 422 articles were analyzed being selected from the CAPES Journal Portal; Web of Science; and Scopus. The main results showed that: (a) it was found that there are different ways to conceptualize IE due to its dynamic, multidimensional nature and distinct possibilities of configuration and implementation; (b) it is recommended to understand the concept of IE in a perspective of an interdependent and open dialectical duality, being able to assume different nomenclatures, based on the concrete or singular environment of its application; (c) one can conceptualize and situate IE as a set of cases, applications, interactions and interpretations that in turn make up the very construction of knowledge, within a kind of global IE. With this research, it can be seen a continuous trend of growth in studies on EI, as well as the expansion of its diversity, going beyond the scope of companies and adding structuring elements of development, such as the geographical, energy and social issues. distributive, strengthening its abiotic elements.
