Simulation and Optimization of Dynamic Characteristic of Intelligent AC Contactor

摘要
Dynamic characteristic analysis is important to the optimum design of AC contactor. A simulation model of intelligent AC contactor based on PWM control has been established by ADAMS software. Through developing a subroutine SFOSUB, in which a set of differential equations that describes the coupling of electric circuit, electromagnetic field and mechanical system being solved, the dynamic characteristic such as velocity, acceleration can be calculated. According to the result obtained from the static simulation accomplished by ANSYS software, the iteration of Runge-Kutta method has been adopt in this subroutine to accelerate equation solving. In addition, four optimization algorithms have been used to seek the optimal control parameters to minimize the contact bounce. The simulation analysis shows that intelligent control can effectively reduce the contact bounce and energy consumption.
