摘要
Magnetic particle hyperthermia is a promising cancer therapy, but a typical applicability problem is to localize heat solely to malignant regions sparing healthy surrounding tissues. By simultaneous application of a static magnetic field together with the hyperthermia alternating magnetic field, heating focus may be achieved in small tunable regions. The main objective of this work is to examine the focusing heating parameters, by adequate selection of magnetic nanoparticles and field conditions in a phantom system composed of agarose gel, mimicking human tissue.
