摘要
A new furan-2-one, namely monafuranone (1), was isolated from the EtOAc-soluble fraction of a 95% EtOH extract of the red mold rice produced by Monascus. sp. BCRC-PINK24. The structure of 1 was elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including UV, IR, HR-ESI-MS, and extensive 1D and 2D NMR techniques.
