A one-pot, highly efficient procedure was reported for the synthesis of 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles in water as a green solvent using Cu@KCC-1-NH-CS2 as a novel nanoreactor. Different methods such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and adsorption/desorption analysis (BET equation) have been used for the characterization of engineered nanocatalyst. High surface area (133 m(2) g(-1)) and porous structure of the nanocatalyst, excellent catalytic performance in ecofriendly and green solvent with very short reaction times (5-20 min), easy work up, no use of toxic solvents, and suitable reusability of the catalyst are advantages of this presented work.
