Reading comprehension strategies used by deaf middle-school students

摘要
13 reading strategies of deaf adolescent boys and girls attending residential middle schools were compared. Boys reported the lower-level strategy of reading aloud more often than girls. Both reported top strategies of asking someone to explain (dependent) and rereading and looking at the pictures (independent).
