摘要：

Coolants is the key raw materials in vanadium extraction from hot metal by BOF to control the bath temperature. This paper studies the cooling capacity of coolants in two ways, theoretical calculation and DSC measurement. It is concluded that the cooling capacity measured by DSC is credible. And the order of the cooling capacity from big to small is pellet, residue slag, V-slag and pig iron.
