摘要
A new and less hazardous procedure for demetalation of Cu(I)-phenanthroline-based interlocked molecules, using aqueous MOH rather than toxic KCN, has been developed. The conditions are compatible with materials containing nucleophile-sensitive appended groups such as C-60, and coordinating moieties such as zinc(II)-porphyrins.
