摘要
Economic behaviors, people's needs and preferences vary from stage to stage, so shifts in age structure can have significant macroeconomic effects. Although the aging workforce and seniors in the Slovak Republic do not yet represent a strong demand for market goods, their economic potential may not be negligible. Among other things, the aging population is an economic potential that can be exploited for innovation and improvement. Despite the high level of pensions, seniors have considerable purchasing power, which will generate increasing demand for specific goods and services, which is an opportunity for the labor market and industry 4.0. In this paper we try to describe the areas where the silver economy should be and the aging of the population itself as a challenge to new business opportunities.
