Adult education in virtual environments: Design of tasks for geometry learning through geography contents

摘要
We contribute to the issue of design experiments in educational research, specifically dealing with the design of tasks for online adult education in geometry. We identified the educative model that underlies a mathematics course called Geometry and Geography proposed at BUNAM (http://www.bunam.unam.mx/), an online educative program for high school level. The population in this study was Mexican workers living in USA. Here we carried out a cognitive analysis of a representing task belonging to this course, and a classification of students' achievements as well. This work is based on the application of design experiments methodology in virtual environments to help promoting participant's improvement in geometry learning.
