Information obtained from resonant inverse photoemission(IPE) in Ce compounds at the Ce 3d and 4d core threshold is theoretically discussed on the basis of the Anderson impurity model taking into account the full multiplet. By bearing in mind the result of analysis of the IPE spectrum at the 3d threshold for CeNi2, that the 4f-ligand hopping integral in the state with a 3d core hole must be reduced to similar to 1/3 from that in the state without the core hole, an expected incident electron energy dependence of IPE spectrum of CeNi2 near the Ce 4d core threshold is discussed.
