摘要
In contrast to C-C bond cleavage of cyclic oxime esters, the corresponding coupling reaction without ring-opening are less explored. In this context, we report an unprecedented method for the synthesis of 3-sulfonyl indenones via copper-catalyzed redox-neutral coupling reaction of indanone derivatives with sodium sulfinates. This approach provides an efficient approach to 3-sulfonyl indenones from readily available indanone derivatives without any ligands and external oxidants.
