The Research on the Comprehensive Evaluating Index System of Campus Linear-Space in Universities

According to the spot investigation of campus linear-space programming status and development trend, three spatial conformation characteristics of the line form space layout have been found which are opening, humanity, and relevance. At the same time, 15 indexes have been determined by using the method of screening and expert inquiry. The evaluation model of the programming has also been established by using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the key factors such as sub-road, main road, road node, landscape of teaching area, public area landscape and the teaching group of space have great influence on the line form space planning. In line with the study, the road axes are the important factors to mirror the role and status of the linear-space layouts in campus programming. Thus when we make a decision on campus linear space layout, we should consider road axes firstly, and next take into account the landscape axes.
