摘要
Strings attached. Covalent attachment of two DNA strands to RNA enabled allosteric control of hammerhead ribozyme catalysis by formation of a double-stranded DNA constraint, as illustrated in the figure. The constraint acted by disrupting RNA tertiary structure while leaving the secondary structure essentially intact.
