摘要
Web administrators can adjust the performance of server through revising some related parameters in the configuration file. However, any changes in the configuration file can work only when the server restarts again once the server starts. At the same time, problems brought by the development of Internet make it inevitable to optimize the server performance. In this paper, we focus on these two problems. We can adjust the performance of server by tuning some important parameters dynamically in Apache Web Server rather than revising configuration file. Besides, as to the server optimization, we adopt MIMO method to model the Apache Web Server based on observations and comparison with other types of models, and then obtain a relatively proper model by comparing minimum square errors among five groups of data drawn by five different models.
