摘要
This paper models and analyzes the performance of Distributed Web Server (DWS) System with respect to Access Frequency Distribution (AFD) based on the functional architecture of Microsoft.NET framework. As the WWW (World Wide Web) becomes popular, there have been a lot of efforts made to enhance the web-based computing performance and efficiency. In this paper, a DWS model with access frequency on distributed web resources is presented and studied. The DWS is configured as a parallel computing platform by using XML (eXtensible Markup Language). The main objective of this paper is to establish a theoretical foundation of statistical distribution of user's access frequency and arrange the worker computer according to its distribution of access frequency in advance. This will reduce the communication time. in the distributed web-based computing environment. Numerical evaluation of its efficiency will be shown in terms of communication time.
