摘要：
The paper provides an overview of the functional principles used for level measurement in process vessels. The first part describes mechanical level gauges - float level sensors, vibration and rotary paddle level switches. It also specifies methods of installation of level sensors into the technological apparatus and discusses advantages and disadvantages of the sensors.
