摘要：
The oxidation of unsaturated carboxylic acids and esters to lactones with hydrogen peroxide is catalyzed by methyltrioxorhenium (MTO). The reaction proceeds regioselectively in high yield. On the basis of the results of this investigation and a comparison with previous work, a concerted process and mechanism have been suggested. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
