摘要
Fuzzy logic has features that can particularly solve problems posed by autonomous robots. The first `Using Fuzzy Logic for Autonomous Robotics' (FLAR) on-line workshop is regarded as a limited but worthy attempt in establishing a discussion forum to critically assess the importance of fuzzy logic techniques in the field of robotics. The on-line format of the workshop allowed the development of interesting interactions that focussed on the experimental evaluation of the proposed approaches in the use of fuzzy logic and control of autonomous robots; the comparison between fuzzy and non-fuzzy techniques; and the respective merits of fuzzy and non-fuzzy solutions.
