摘要
The issue of whether the first language (L1) should be used in second language (L2) teaching has been debated for a long time. In this essay, some criteria on how to use and when to use L1 in my teaching process will be discussed, after that it comes to some strategies about how to limit the use of L1 and encourage the use of L2.
