Legal Collocations in EU Terminology

In Community terminology, in addition to the syntagms specific to the fields to which the provisions of legal texts and syntagms of general use apply, there are also used a series of phraseologisms specific to the legal field. These legal collocations have been formed around some generic terms, such as trial, justice, jurisdiction, names with explicit meanings, as well as their associated adjectives. No matter their position, either determined or determinant, nouns have precise meanings. The adjectives they select belong to the legal field or common vocabulary. As elements of legal discourse, in Romanian these collocations are mostly loanwords and calques from French.
