摘要
In this paper, to detect the dynamic characteristics of transformer on-load tap changer (OLTC), an AC test method is introduced. The AC method has advantages of accurate result and unique interpretation. As a new method, the AC waveforms and their judgment of OLTC in transformer are introduced. First, 220V AC power is supplied to the transformer at primary side. Secondly, the current value of OLTC is sampled and transmitted to the host computer. Finally, we could diagnose the faults of OTLC according to the current waveform. Simulation results show that the AC test method proposed in this paper can detect the fault of OLTC effectively.
