An alternative architecture -: for financial data integration

The advantages offered by real-time integration of data distributed in several heterogeneous cross-enterprise information sources in the financial services industry are discussed. It becomes necessary for the industry to combine customer data from various services to produce an integrated financial picture of the customer. Many institutions are reaching partnership agreements with other institutions with the goal of improving their competitiveness. As access to Internet-based banking systems becomes increasingly common, many customers manage all their financial accounts by using a single and unified Web interface.
