摘要
This paper focuses on the application of Data Driven Documents (D3), used for interactive system data exploration and visualisation, to an integrated ship design model, the Whole Ship Model (WSM), which was developed as part of the Low Carbon Shipping and Shipping in Changing Climates projects. The WSM combines a parametric ship model, the operational profile and a range of performance enhancing or emissions reducing technologies to allow the performance and cost of different designs to be calculated. In this paper the WSM was used to pre-calculate the performance of thousands of ship designs that can then be searched and filtered by the user using D3.
