摘要
First applications of a new electrowetting display approach have been developed by adt. This technique is environmental friendly because of its bistability (e.g. replacement of LED indicators), and materials used. Those displays are highly suitable for household applications because they appear white in powerless state. Printer-like subtractive color mixture and high, ambient light contrast ratio pave the way towards electronic billboards.
