Ein schwieriges Feld: Betriebliche Gesundheitsförderung in der stationären Altenpflege

The company and the workplace are the only options where many people can encounter the topic of "health promotion." This is especially true in the field of inpatient care for the elderly where special attention should be paid to those who are responsible for the health and care of other people. The high work stresses and the high incapacity numbers have been analysed in detail in the POLKA project and published elsewhere. The POLKA project is characterized by the use of professional guides and experts for implementation. In addition to the quantitative research approaches, the concrete experiences and findings of professional guides and experts were qualitatively developed through semi-structured interviews. The computer-aided evaluation of the interviews provided a substantiated insight into the promotion factors and barriers to project implementation. Adherence of the staff as well as the nursing home management could be identified as relevant overarching categories for which action is required. This is presented in this article in a differentiated manner.
